It is a right of passage for just about every kid- find a pair of scissors and give yourself a nasty haircut. Lukas could care less, but Katharine is none too happy about it. She LOVED her long hair, and was getting really good at tying her own pony tails and brushing it every day.
Lesson learned?
Katharine's hair was very unevenly chopped off on either side, so I had to go and make it even all around. There were quite a few tears yesterday and I tried to make her feel better by going to the hairdresser last night to get my hair cut the same length as hers. Yes, I am working hard at being a good mommy.
