Plans change every once in a while, but everything has been running pretty smoothly so far.
We cleaned up the back porch this morning in anticipation of the door installer arriving, but he never showed. At least the porch looks nice now!
Morning math.
For our special project, Keira gave a corn husk doll workshop. She did great!
Guess who made each doll.
Top row: Keira
Bottom row: Kassidy, Erik, Lennon, Lukas
Pepper even enjoyed himself.
The old man had a good day, even though he got stuck on Kassidy's shorts at one point.
Today we boycotted waffles and ramen noodles, to give out bodies a little break.
Over in Germany, Iria sent us pics from a zoo that she visited, She started chatting with Keira, who sent her a selfie and one of our own zoo animals from the backyard.
Here are the cousins Anna and Jakob, growing up FAST!
Back in Texas, it was the usual afternoon of driving around non-stop from soccer practice to dance.
Fortunately, Keira was able to go home with her friend Jane, which helped me get to one of the boys practices in time.
And it finally all wrapped up at the 9 PM pickup in Richardson.
A little bit of work was done on the Lego set today, but I had them doubling down on math so there wasn't as much free time.
I'm on page 68 of 70 as I write this.
Go, go, go! Victory is in the air!
