Our new couch arrived last week, and was quickly proven to be sleep-worthy by the two boys.

Food and Fellowship
Here are some pics of the prayer circle and food line at Meghan's wonderful Thanksgiving dinner this week. This is always one of our favorite events of the year.
Thanks, Meghan!

Hagerman Wildlife Refuge
I took a few pictures with my phone while Erik had his more serious camera with him.
Me and my loves!
Kassidy was the first one to see this water moccasin.
Pretty little bee on a Osage orange.
Lukas tried to get close to the geese, but they kept walking away.
Flowering silver nightshade.
Lukas always looks for dead things. This time we found a cat fish skeleton, pretty cool.
Overall we counted hundreds of geese, ducks and gulls ( lots of other birds, too), about ten great blue herons, one egret, eight grey vultures, 18 great white Pelicans, 17 cormorants, four deer, one turtle, one water moccasin, as well as one Dead Sea gull and the above mentioned catfish skeleton. And this pretty little beetle below, and a bee.

Tree Lighting and Nutcracker Excerpts
Students of the TBT Dallas School danced at the tree lighting ceremony in Snider Plaza, Dallas this past Sunday. They all did an incredible job and stayed calm even when technical issues arose. Once fixed, they went on stage and delivered a beautiful performance!
Katharine was in the Russian dance and Arabian.
The tree was lit before the dancing due to technical difficulties with the music, i.e. there was no CD player and one had to be found quickly.
The pictures are not the best, it was dark and I only had my camera phone. I think the joy that Katharine feels when she dances still shows through all the blurr.

Leaving the studio in full make up and Russian costume after a warm up class.
Keira's fellow ballet classmate, PACE team member and Nutcracker cast member Giselle was there to watch, too.
Three of my goofballs

I am constantly amazed by her love and dedication for this art form.

Reading and Make Up
Katharine has a performance later this afternoon. The girls have been out all day since 7:30 this morning, so we had to find a place to do hair and make up for Katharine. What better place than Barnes and Noble?

Busy Boys
It is Tournament Season, and the boys played in 9 soccer games this past weekend.
Lennon had 6 games, and Lukas had 3.
Lukas's team didn't make the playoffs, but Lennon's 08 team made the finals. Add in a make-up Chaos game, and that adds up to a lot of soccer.
At least they were easy to put to bed every night :)

Curly Cutie
Iria put Keira's hair up in curlers for some nutcracker prep this weekend.
She looked really cute, but hated all of the pictures that were getting taken of her :)

Keira and Kassidy both completed 35 laps for their Fun Run Fundraiser this morning.
And they are sleeping well tonight :)
Now on to potentially 9 soccer games this weekend for the boys as their tournaments kick off..
