Pierced, again

Keira got her ears pierced yesterday. 

She originally got them pierced last year, but they eventually grew over.

Sleep Gear

Kassidy has been wearing the ear muffs around the house that we bought Lukas for the Green Day concert earlier this year. Now she is wearing them to bed? 

Add some blankies, and she is all set for a pleasant sleep!

Ft. Worth Water Gardens

We went to the Fort Worth Water Gardens today. They are an oasis in downtown Fort Worth and worth the drive.

Laundry

When you are in 11 dances at recital, it makes sense to carry everything in a laundry basket. I took this picture after dress rehearsal for the senior recital. It  is the only picture I have of Katharine from recital this year  as we were not allowed to watch dress rehearsal. 😞

Daddy Daughter at the Dance

Katharine had her recital this weekend, and it was great to see all of the dances that she was in.

Her school puts on a really professional looking show, which makes sense when you think that most of those girls are on the track to being a professional. Hopefully Katharine too :)

Lunch Date

Keira and I eat lunch together once a week at school, always accompanied by a doughnut with sprinkles.

Only one more week left!

Gap Kid

Kassidy finally lost a loose tooth this week that had been bothering her.

She very rarely finds them (I guess that she might swallow them in her sleep?), but after briefly losing this one it was located again at Keira's spot on the kitchen island table. Don't ask..

The tooth faerie brought her a Shopkin toy, which made her wonder if the tooth faerie actually shops at Target.

Sunday at the Zoo

The stars and planets aligned today, allowing us a rare time out as a whole family together (actually, it was a Lennon injury and the choir wrapping up last week).

The neighborhood pools opened up last week.

The water is still a little cold, but at least that makes for big empty pools.

Lil' Recital

They both did great, and had lots of fun.

Next up, the big girl recital in two weeks :)

We stopped for German food after, and Kassidy had passed out before the food came. We were able to keep Keira awake and in a good mood :)

Happy Birthday, Kassidy!

Kassidy turned 7 today. 

She has been counting down the months/weeks/days, and it did not disappoint- on what other day can you have cake and ice cream for breakfast :)
