After Dinner Christmas Eve Walk

 I took a few pictures on our after dinner walk last night and this is what I came up with:

'Twas the Night Before Christmas..

The pets certainly get around alot at night.

Now I'm off to bed to catch a few z's before they all start jumping on me at 5 AM..

Traditions

We hardly ever eat out together, but make it a point to go out every Christmas Eve after church.

We used to have Indian food, but that restaurant went away. 

This year we went to Main Street Bakery inside the Shops of Legacy. 

The whole street outside is lit up by lights, and there is a pond to walk around and gaze up at the ginormous Christmas tree that they have on display.

Fun times!

Now I just need to get all of these kids to sleep..

Team Concept

I went to the Gearbox Christmas party last night and took a photo with all of the concept artists.

I also picked up a sweet Lenovo all-in-one computer as a gift that we can use in the school room.

The Gingerbread Man girl

Kassidy had her school pageant tonight, where they put on "The Gingerbread Man" show.

  

She made it through all of the moves and songs- which shouldn't surprise anyone who spends time with Kassidy.

On the way over I asked if she was going to a be a Gingerbread Girl, and she corrected me "I'm a gingerbread man girl!".

Happy Birthday, Lukas!

Lukas completed another trip around the sun and turned 10 years old. 

He is book-ended between the hardcore dancer and soccer player, but is comfortable moving at his own pace in his chill and cool demeanor. And we love him for it.

Katharine and Keira had to be in Fort Worth early for the Nutcracker, so we all got up at 6 AM for the cake and presents.

He picked buffalo wings for his birthday meal.

The Art of Dance

Katharine sketched portraits of her friends at dance and sculpted a Nutcracker rat out of felt and pipe cleaners (the mask even comes off to reveal a girl with a bun in her hair underneath).
