Maya and Katharine

It had been a little over a month since they last played together (too many busy weekends as of late), but they quickly picked up where they left off: dress-up, drawing, eating,,,, you know the drill.

Speaking of 'The Lord of the Rings'

Here is an excerpt from an Eowyn story that Katharine started writing:

"Eowyn was a really big girl"

The plot thickens,,,

The Incredibles

Katharine has been drawing some neat pictures as of late. She is really into elves and princesses from the 'The Lord of the Rings' (we are reading "The Hobbit" at nights).

Tonight she knocked off this 'Incredibles' picture as she was stalling going off to bed.

It's a girl!

We've got bookends! (girl - boy - boy - girl)
And we've got a name- but we won't be saying until she is born. For those who keep track, it isn't any of the name ideas that we have already put out there.
And for those who actually read this blog, sorry for the lack of updates as of late. I am working hard to finish up our game at Gearbox, and I lose a lot of idle blog updating time. We've got a bunch of good pictures from Mom's trip and a few more sets from our vacation, so I will try and get those up soon.

Jamaica: Day 6 (the beach)

Back in the water. By now it was as warm as a bathtub and very clear- and Lukas still liked it!

Whew.

Brian and I went snorkeling along the seaweed and corral but didn’t find anything except for some small brown fish and tiny sea urchins. Back at the beach, the kids were faring a lot better,,

Katharine was also practicing her swimming! This would continue at the pool later on and tomorrow.

Settling down for lunch; they ate the usual pita, fruits and vegetables first and then raided my hotdog and French fries order from the grill.

I have no clue what Lukas is doing here,,, but it looks pretty funny.

Here is a jolly Captain Lennon in a white sailor hat, ready to head off to his ship.

Lukas and Aiden hung out some more after lunch and caught some small waves.

Lukas could now handle waves and water, but getting sand on his hands was still very much a different matter.

This would be our last afternoon at the beach.
