More Broadway Cafe Photos

Here are a few more photos form Broadway Cafe 2020. Three succesful shows are behind us. We will do it again same time next year.

Lukas had a little feature in the Middle School song. He has got moves, but don't tell him that!

Erik thought it was funy to see Lennon NOT in soccer uniform. He looks quite handsome in a button down shirt and dress pants.

Not just did Katharine have threee choir performances this weekend, she  also had two shows with the Texas Ballet theater School Dallas Ensemble. the picture above was taken Saturday night, after she ahd already had the two dances shows behind her, and she managed to sing beautifully with a microphone that was not turned on. No clue how she does it all!

Katharine with her duet partner Samantha. The have known each other since they were 2 years old. They sang "My Own Best Friend" from CHICAGO.

I will probably make another  post filled with group pictures of the different grade levels. Oh yes, I was in charge of table decor this year.

Board Games

Keira and Kassidy designed some board games for us to play.

Keira's game is based on 'Little Women', and comes with hand crafted game pieces and trivia questions from the book.

Kassidy's game includes a multiplication table, even though there is no multiplication required, and is themed on vehicles (of course).

Throw in some rock/paper/scissors action and a bunch of weirdo rules and you get a unique Kassidy experience!

Natahali

Here is the first paragraph of a new book that Keira is working on. It is called "Natahali".

She also made a really cool diorama of the forest yesterday.

Once upon a time in a faraway world, where no human could ever find, there was a village. This village had no fancy houses or castles, instead it had houses dug into trees and dugouts. On a cold October morning in a little wood house a boy was born. His name was Jesper.  Jesper had no idea that he was going to be important one day so he did what every toadstool boy does, climb trees. Jesper had learned to climb trees at age 5 and he learned the best spots to pick huckleberries. Huckleberries are poisonous to humans but for the toadstool people you can make anything out of them.

Pieces

The work/soccer/dance insanity starts back up again next week, so Iria and I still have some time to finish up some projects. Iria just started a 3000 piece puzzle, and I am finishing up a 4000 piece Lego building set.

A Very Frousin New Years Eve

We spent New Year's Eve at the Martels.
Here are some random pics that I took throughout the evening.
Some notable events:
1. The 1st Annual Bendy Awards
2. Katharine's first drink of alcohol/champagne
3. More Keira and Kate productions
4. The smell of nail polish

And the usual fun and games :)
