Baby Doll

Keira has started carrying dolls around recently, growing up more and more every day.

It is funny how those nurturing instincts kick in at an early age for girls...

while the boys are another story altogether.

Huddling Up

Both Keira and Lennon came down with some kind of nasty virus on Thursday afternoon, and they (and us) have had to endure just about every messy, wet and smelly symptom in the book. Both older kids have never went through anything like that, so they are holding out Alamo-style in Katharine's room tonight.

Tea and Company

Katharine had her birthday party today at a quaint little tea room in Plano. Some of her closest friends were in attendance -

Charlotte

Maya

Gabby

Emma

and Trinity.

The place also sold toys- what more could a girl ask for?

Meanwhile, back at home...

Lukas and Lennon were passed out after their "Saturday morning TV". This reminds me why they don't get to watch it during the rest of the week.

Keira also did a bit of napping, and she woke up with some pretty crazy hair (even for her).

Later on, Jeramy and Maya came over for some dinner and to whisk Katharine away to a sleepover at their house. It is 10:40 and we still haven't gotten the "I want to come home" call... so maybe she will finally make it through the night at one of her friend's houses.

Zoo Trip

Iria took all 5 kids to the zoo today to celebrate Katharine's birthday... and she also managed to snap a bunch of cool pictures.

Super mom!

Super wife!

Happy Anniversary, Liebs :)

Four kids in a tub!

I wonder what 5 kids in a tub will look like?

Super Brothers!

Or more like super villains, considering how I heard they behaved this past week.

But anyways, here we are off to "Jack Jack's" birthday party this morning at McDonalds. They were in an especially good and cooperative mood (they only get McDonalds once per month, so this was a big treat); so I took advantage of that and snapped a few pictures of them together.

Thursday Art Class

"Shades and Tints"

Katharine drew a portrait of Sarah Jessica Parker, based off of the cover of Iria's 'Glamour' magazine.

"Car Plane"

Lukas drew a car that can turn into a plane that for some reason is being driven by Keira. Watch your heads and toes!

"Daddy's Foot"

Lennon directed Katharine in a collaboration of sorts. First he asked her to draw a picture of my foot, and then a picture of Iria. He then proceeded to scribble over everything. Not sure what that is supposed to mean, but it is Lennon after all...

Texture Art

The last subject in art class was texture. So I made salt dough for the kids to use to make textured sculptures/ amulets. Lukas and Lennon like to join us for art, especially when it is really hands on. So first we made the amulets, added different texture using plastic forks and knives, toothpicks etc...Once they were dry we painted them and threaded yarn through the holes to add even more texture. Lennon's amulet is on the left, Lukas' in the middle and Katharine's is on the right. Keira was asleep during both parts of creating the art works.

Silly Lukas and Lennon

All bottoms.

Lukas came down last night in is Scooby Doo pajamas. He proceeded to be kind of silly which prompted Lennon to join in the silliness.

This looks like one of Lennon's rare performances of his "poopy dance". Which has nothing to do with that business at all.

Doing the two-step.

Oops, a bit blurry. Uploaded the wrong picture. Well, use your imagination.
