All I want for Easter is my one front tooth...

But he'll also take cash...

Frisco Ballet Gala

We headed off to the Frisco Ballet's Gala tonight.

It was supposed to be just the three of us, but Kassidy has been a bit of a night owl as of late; so we took her along with us to make it a little easier for Iria's Mom back at home.

Kassidy, or course, had a blast.

And we did to!

Here is Katharine giving me her "I know you're taking my picture!" look.

But soon the camera was forgotten, and the girls all danced it up (with a little bit of karaoke mixed in).

At some points the noise and crowds would get to them...

But never for very long.

The art that shall not be named...

Katharine has always been very interested in Voldermort, and recently crafted a flying vessel of his out of legos and sketched up an anatomical survey of his head.

Luckily, his lack of a nose works perfectly with 9 year old profile drawings.

Mud Bath

The sun is coming out after days or rain.

Time to get dirty!

Dolls in the House

Katharine and Maya started a photo book project last Saturday, staging their dolls in a varying array of poses and fashion (Charlotte and Katharine did the same thing last year).

The project wound down after lunch before it could be completed, so here are some of the shots in progress.

And Keira had to set up a photo as well...

Ramen Rolls

We were eating Ramen Noodles at lunch and talking about how different families eat them differently, and then all of a sudden Keira came up with this.

Is it the start of a new tradition?

Night at the Museum

Every third Friday the DMA has Late Night, a fun thing to do for everyone. The kids and us had fun going on a "Where the Wild Things Are" scavenger hunt through the museum. Once we were done with that we went to hang out in the center for connections and explored magnets, built with Legos on a wall, and made foam pictures. Katharine drew an awesome picture on the dry erase wall.

I love this picture of Erik and Kassidy.

The boys worked on moving all the magnets from one wall to another.

Keira and Kassidy enjoyed the Lego wall.

This is the house the little girls built.

Lennon made a rooster out of foam magnets.

Here is Keira working on a foam butterfly.

Kassidy discovered herself in the mirror. It was quite funny seeing her reaction.

Katharine's AWSOME drawing titled "The Giving Tree", which is also one of our favorite books.

Tot Wheels

I wasn't the biggest fan of "Spring Forward" when I had to wake up early last Sunday, but I am loving coming home to daylight and being able to play with the kids outside again.
