'Tis the Season

We stopped by Market Street during our bike ride today. Lukas insisted on a pumpkin picture, so let the seasonal photo-ops begin!

Happy birthday, Keira!

Keira turned 2 today.

We had a small birthday celebration at home...

but every since she tried touching the candle at last Saturday's birthday dinner she has been a little afraid of fire.

But it was all worth it for the cupcake.

And the new baby doll.

Keira facts:

She will try just about any kind of food, and one of her favorites are bananas.

She has just started playing with baby dolls, and loves to push them around in a stroller.

She can power up an iPad, navigate to her favorite books and games, and then launch the apps.

Her nicknames consist of many variations of the word "cute".

She LOVES to go on bike rides and wear her helmet.

She is very aggressive, and will push her big brothers off of their spots on the couch to make room for herself.

Along those lines, she can throw quite a fit (hard to believe, huh?).

She loves anything that has to do with "Toy Story 3".

She sleeps with a makeshift pacifier, which used to be a nipple from one of her old baby bottles (you can always hear her coming when she sucks air through that thing).

Her favorite book is currently "Brown Bear, Brown Bear".

She likes to pick out her own clothes, and loves trying on shoes.

She loves Natasha and Mary at church.

She has a friend named Violet.

And of all our kids, she is the only one who took afternoon naps past the age of 18 months (and she is still going strong).

Cupcakes and Presents

This evening we capped off Lennon's birthday with some cupcakes and presents. We had a lot of fun, but in the future I might refrain from introducing the extra sugar and new toy stimuli 15 minutes before bedtime (I just heard him walking around again at quarter of eleven).

Happy Birthday, Lennon!

Lennon turned 3 today.

Lennon's favorite toy characters are Batman, Robin and Woody.

Not surprisingly, Lennon wants to be a "superhero" when he grows up.

He still sleeps with his mousey, and loves to share it with Kassidy.

He still craves vanilla soy milk, and lately has been asking for it warmed up.

His favorite food is macaroni and cheese, and he also loves carrots.

He still loves to work on floor puzzles, and plays spelling games on my iPad.

He loves to go on bike rides to the playground, where he plays superheroes with Lukas.

His favorite TV shows are Justice League and Scooby Doo, but he still only gets to watch them on Saturday mornings.

His favorite color is orange, and his favorite animal is a tiger (go figure).

He doesn't like going to bed, and will come downstairs 3-4 times every night attempting to stall out the process.

Happy birthday, Captain!

Yep, that is still his nickname :)

3 for 1

Three of the frousins share a birthday within a week or two of each other, so we consolidated the parties into one fun and fine birthday dinner at Patrizios (before they get old enough and start demanding Chucky Cheese... not that we would take them there anyways).

Keira is turning 2 on Wednesday.

Lennon turns 3 today.

Nolan turned 3 on September 7.

And Lukas... he still has to wait a few months (much to his chagrin).
