Evidence
Keira decided to cut her hair AFTER I told her she couldn't. When I asked her why she cut her hair, she said she didn't like it touching her neck.

Texas sky
Iria shot this cool photo of the sky yesterday, after a bunch of thunderstorms had rolled through.
A few raindrops were still falling, back-lit by the sun, which Katharine described as looking like jewels falling from the sky.

Field Trip
We went to the Dallas Museum of Art this morning. We walked through the George Grosz exhibit first, talked about some of his drawings and paintings, with Keira announcing loudly that her favorite one was "Nude arranging her Hair."
Then we went to the kids' part of the museum, made some paper sculptures, and had fun with Legos dry erase markers and magnets.
Kassidy loved exploring the space area where they have different colored screens.

Lego Challenge
Take a bag of 50 random Lego pieces...
Give them 10 minutes to build something...
Hand out fake prizes and real popsicles at the end.
Closet slumbers
All three kids (Lukas, Lennon, and Keira) decided to camp out in the closet a few nights ago, but Lukas is the only one who made it all the way through the night.

A-List
Kassidy is becoming quite a fixture on the dance competition scene, and apparently loved by cast and crew alike.
I don't know if they are reserving seats for her yet, but by the looks of this pic it isn't far off.
Opening Day
Today Lukas and the Phillies had their first game of the season against the Mets.
Lukas has the same coach / team / number as last year, but has moved up to "coach pitch" rules.
A few of the kids from last season have come back, but he has got to meet a lot of new faces.
Katharine, Iria, and Kassidy are off at a dance competition, so Keira and Lennon joined me in the stands.
This is a classic Lennon face.
Lukas did great.
He hit the ball both times that he was up, on just the first and second pitch.
The first time he hit a grounder right into the first baseman's glove, but the second time he hit a good shot down the third base line and got on base.
The next few batters advanced him around the bases, and then he outran the pitcher to beat the tag at home plate.
The Phillies lost, but Lukas and the other kids still had a lot fun.
After a pep talk from the coach, we all headed home.
Lukas was hot and exhausted, and started taking his shoes off on the way to the car. It probably didn't help that his over-sized wool socks were pulled up to his thighs...
