Costume Covet

Kassidy got her recital costume yesterday and it has not left her side. 

She took it to Lukas's practice, ate dinner next to it, slept with it, and so on.

If anybody gets too close she will let out a resounding "NO!". 

Iria made the mistake of trying to put it in the closet last night when she wasn't looking, and the screams from our sweet little girl were deafening.

Best to let the kid hang onto the costume. 

At least it is sealed up in the bag...

Lego Build

Start with a sandwich bag filled with random Legos, pick a theme ("Defend your town from a T-Rex" in this case), and then force yourself to use every brick in the bag.

Triple Play

Katharine met up with three of her best friends yesterday.

First up was Charlotte, who slept over on Friday night and then moved on to some dolls and drawing.

Claire arrived an hour or two after Charlotte left, and it was all Minecraft.

An hour after Claire left Katharine went out to dinner and a movie with Maya.

Busy day!

"Now Is the Start" large group lyrical

          This dance is a large group lyrical dance called "Now is the Start", by A Fine Frenzy.

"The Only One"

 These are the pictures of Katharine's solo "The Only One". The pictures were taken on May 2nd, 2013 at the Starquest Competition in Arlington, TX.  It is amazing to see how much progress Katharine has made just since last year! We are very proud of her. She is very dedicated to her art and takes dance seriously. She is very honored and humbled that Ms. Sheena has chosen her to perform a solo this year.

                  Katharine loves the picture of the Russian, but knows she has to point the left foot.
