Wild Animals

Today we visited the Dallas Zoo (for a long overdue visit) to see the new "Wilds of Africa" exhibet that went up last year and to snap some pictures for our Easter card.

Lots of photos were taken.

Her knee is fine, and apparently her writing skills are in pretty good shape as well.

Personalized Band Aid

Katharine's knee took quite a ding last night before we left the Martels. 

She got the most fabulous bandaid ever: Brian drew a cool robot on it for her.

Matching Dinner and Outfit

Kassidy had beets and apples with plain Greek yoghurt for dinner tonight and the color matched the ladybugs on her outfit.

Scarborough Fair

We went to the opening of the Scarborough Fair today, officially ushering in Summer a few months early (it is always the first day of the year that I feel really hot and have to break out the sunblock).

I brought Keira along for the first time, and she had fun walking around collecting rocks and casting cautious sideway stares at some of the more outlandish costumes. 

I usually take a zillion pictures at this event, but I kept the camera in the bag most of the time. Tracking four young kids in big crowds who are being pulled in every direction by visual and culinary distractions is a lot of work! 

So here are some of the pictures that I did take:
