4th of July with Gelato and a Tunnel
While Erik is out celebrating Independence Day with Keira and Lennon at an FC Dallas game, I took the rest of the crew to Paciugo in Allen for a treat of gelato. We enjoyed the rare treat and had fun playing outside for a bit.
The flavors that were picked: Rose, Violet, Mint and Chocolate, Cookies and Cream and Three Vanillas - hm so good!
After the special treat we went for a walk, and listened to some music in the park.
The most fun we had playing in a tunnel that was just put in the newly renovated play area.
And then we found something really special while window shopping: A Giant Hornet

On Pointe
Look who got fitted for pointe shoes today! So proud of my girl! We are switching to the Texas Ballet Theater school this summer. After nine years at Sheena's Dance Academy it was time for a change and a new beginning!
Katharine took a placement class at TBT yesterday and the principal told her she should get fitted for pointe shoes! What an exciting time for Katharine!

Welcome Home Performance
Iria and Katharine made it home safely from their dance competition trip tonight.
Katharine did great, and had a lot of fun with her roomies.
Anyways, Keira rehearsed her own set of dances this afternoon, which she performed for them before bedtime.
You can't escape the dance show at the Doescher house!

Kassidy still sits like this all of the time.
I was marveling at her flexibility, but Iria showed me that she can do it to.
Oh well, now I marvel at both their flexibility!
Ole Ola!
The boys have been loving the World Cup, and we have been watching (and stressing through) most of the matches.
All of our favorites are still in- USA, Brazil, Argentina, and Germany. Some are considerably less stressful than others to root for..
Anyways, here is a pic of the boys sorting their World Cup trading cards. You can get the complete set for 40 bucks, and it is a nice way to familiarize yourself with the players that you will see in Brazil and the various leagues next year.
