Ignorebowl Party

Between the frousins, food, dress-up, choreography, backyard soccer, and video games, I think the kids have watched no more than a few minutes of the actual game.

They are having fun though!

100th Day of School

Today the kids are celebrating the 100th day of the school year. We had to make shirts for them, so I ironed on 100 pieces of sparkles on each shirt, in sets of five.

The combined score of the boy's three indoor soccer matches today.

We are happy that the outdoor leagues start next week!

Between Dance and Dance

We had a lot of engagements at dance today, with about 2.5 hours in between, which gave us just enough time to run to the Dallas Museum of Art to visit the special exhibit of Jackson Pollock's art and to have some time in the Center for Connections to make some art. We took Keira's friend Kaili with us, too.

The temperature was in the 70's today, so we took Sherman out on his first bike ride.

Winter Wonderland

Morning frost on the ground and roofs might be about as white as we get this winter..

AM Office

The next two guys just walked in at 10:30. 

The last of them will get in between 11:30 and 1:00.

That used to be more like my schedule before I had kids :)

New Year, New Dentist

We switched the big kids to our family dentist. After some initial anxiety by the boys ( Lennon a lot more than Lukas), the verdict was " best dentist visit ever." It helps when you get to assist:

New Year's Eve Day

I took the crew plus one to the Fort Worth zoo to visit the gorilla baby that was born on December 6.



This is Gracie with the yet un-named gorilla baby. Dad is Elmo. This is the first successful gorilla birth at the Fort Worth zoo.


The bonobo babies were very playful. One of the moms is on loan from the Stuttgart zoo, which has a very successful bonobo program.


Orang it and have the saddest yet beautiful eyes.
