My parents are in town over Easter weekend.

The grandparents and the girls posed for some portrait shots before the ladies headed off for tea.

Katharine was looking as beautiful as the weather.

It is hard to tell in this shot- but Iria is 8 months pregnant. We induce on May 11th!

Keira loves climbing around the car- anywhere but her car seat.

DC Comics sent me some free toys yesterday, so the boys were having fun.

Dad took the kids for wagon and bike rides.

Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday is always a fun day for the kids- it must have something to do with those palms...

Lukas and Katharine also sang in their choirs during the service, so it was enjoyable for the parents as well.

A Fine Day for Superhero'ing

Warm and windy weather is perfect for capes and costumes.

Snow today, gone tomorrow

I took the first two shots this morning before we went to church. As I type up this post, just about all of the snow is gone. Tomorrow the temperature will climb back into the upper 60's, as Texas resumes its regularly scheduled weather pattern.

After church we headed over to the Martels for a few hours. We got to play in (and in some cases, eat) a little bit of snow as the last of it was melting away.

I don't know how that girl walks around holding snow and ice cubes. She was definitely born in the wrong hemisphere.

Lukas and Aiden deflected snowballs with their light sabers.

And inside we went through a pound of ham for lunch.

Flashback: St. Patty Days Past

I didn't take any pictures today (outside of that huge glass of beer), so I looked backed into the photo archives for pictures taken on previous St. Patrick Days.

Here is Katharine, back when we still had lots of grass in the backyard. I planted a bunch of new seed recently, and whatever the birds didn't swallow up is set to germinate next week. We shall see...
