80 Degrees and Falling Leaves

Warm and windy weather made for a fun day amidst the leaves. The thermostat drops into the 50's tomorrow, so enjoy it while it lasts.

Yep. I added my own work to the gallery page today. 

Gearbox started up a weekly figure drawing program. I haven't gotten to attend any sessions like this since moving to Texas, so it was nice to get the fingers smudged up and dirty again.

We All Love a Parade

Sheena's Dance Academy had a float in a local parade this morning. Katharine makes her Frisco ballet debut this Saturday in a production of 'The Nutcracker'.

I brought the boys along with me to watch the parade. They were literally getting showered with candy the whole time from the marching groups and floats, which took a bit of the edge off of the cool weather.

I conveniently forgot their bags of candy at the pub we went to for lunch. They can't read yet, so I'm off the hook for a few years.

Katharine presented her Christmas list to us today. Hopefully Santa tracks RSS feeds...

I like the mouse king doodle on the bottom. "The Nutcracker" is very much on Katharine's mind- she makes her debut as a party girl, mouse soldier and candy cane girl on the 20th.

Halloween Fun

Here are the rest of our pictures from Halloween.

I got some nice group shots of the kids while Keira was napping.

Kassidy's first Halloween. We're not so into headbands on babies, but she looked pretty cute in her ballerina costume.

Speaking of cute, here is Keira on the swing. She was going a lot higher than any of our other kids ever did at her age. She is fearless.

Lennon as Obi-Wan. He has the spiky hair, but was just missing the long braid in the back.

It looks like Lukas's dance lessons are paying off :)

Lukas was dressed as Luke Skywalker, and Gwen was Barbie.

Trinity dressed as Chris and Julie's worst nightmare.

Katharine as some kind of southern belle, who apparently liked to golf. I didn't realize that it was a real ball until I heard it whack against the fence, about 10 feet from Chris's car.

Keira was a lady bug. Here she is getting down to business.

Keira started in the stroller, but ended up walking most of the way. She was holding a glow wand and kept waving it at all of the decorations in people's yards, as if it would zap them away.

And last but not least- the sisters. Anita is visiting for the week, and it looks like she was having fun with this American holiday.
