The Doescher Kids

It was nice to see the kids just hanging out and playing together today.

This has become a rare sight as they all get busier with their varied interests and activities.

This occasion was further aided by the fact that I had a broken car, the boys were banned from TV and games this weekend, Keira's dance group finished early at their dance competition, and Katharine stayed home with me after church before I knew I wouldn't be able to drive her to choir.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

We met up with Sammy for a night of baseball rather than the usual night of soccer. 

The Frisco Rough Riders (the Texas Ranger's minor league team) came back from 2 down in the 9th to win it, but the boys were in a celebratory mood long before that.

Katharine got confirmed today :)

Anita and my parents came up for the event, so I dusted off the nice camera and shot some pictures.

That was my meager contribution to the day- Iria and her friend Julie baked and organized everything else. They did a great job, and everybody had a lot of fun.

Trinity was also confirmed today, so we shared the festivities with our 2nd frousins the Milettes.

Katharine got her white tutu last week, reaching a big milestone in her dance training.

Kassidy was walking around all yesterday with a picture that she drew for Iria, 

Both the girl in the picture and the paper were very sad, missing their Mommy.

Keira was in a slightly happier mood.
