 Our fun and quirky daughter turned 12 today. 

I can't imagine what her teen years are going to be like, so we will all slow down and enjoy 12 as much as we can :)

Office mate

Zelda likes to hang out with me in the home office when Iria is away (it is also nice to give Sherman and Sophie a little break from her).

It usually starts with her destroying a paper towel that I supply her with, and then the classical music kicks in and she is ready to chill out at my feet.

Zelda is going to love the Spring and Summer, but she will sure miss the snow.

 

Studio Shuffle

I just moved my studio into the barn, so I officially have a commute again.

But I love the space- totally worth it :) 

Keira of Bath

 Keira played the "Wife of Bath" character in a Canterbury Tales school production this week. 

Since we home schooled for so long, it has been a while since we saw our kids perform in school. The last time I remember was some "History of Texas" production  around 5 years ago at her elementary school.

 Anyways, Keira and her class all did a great job. 

It was much better than the Texas show : )

Three's a Crowd

We are finally getting to the point where all three animals are sometimes around each other. 

Sheman is getting more patient (and sometimes even a little playful), and Sophie has landed a few good swats with her paw. 

The Zelda hurricane rages on, but we are all slowly learning how to weather it.

Back to School

Katharine is back off to college. 

But we got her for an extra two weeks over winter break, and then Spring Break is just around the corner. And then she returns home again for almost four months this summer. 

So not so bad..

but we will still miss her :)
