Riding and Ribbons

Keira had her first riding competition today, and won a 1st place ribbon, two 2nd place ribbons, and a 3rd place ribbon. 

She was also also awarded the champion ribbon for best overall in her riding events.

She also had fun :)

Neighbor Olympics

 Etta and Miles came over to hang out and bop Lukas and Lennon on the head with pool noodles.

They move away in two weeks- we will miss them all!

 

Happy Birthday, Kassidy!

 Our fun and quirky daughter turned 12 today. 

I can't imagine what her teen years are going to be like, so we will all slow down and enjoy 12 as much as we can :)

Office mate

Zelda likes to hang out with me in the home office when Iria is away (it is also nice to give Sherman and Sophie a little break from her).

It usually starts with her destroying a paper towel that I supply her with, and then the classical music kicks in and she is ready to chill out at my feet.

 

 

 

Snowydoodle

Zelda is going to love the Spring and Summer, but she will sure miss the snow.

 

Studio Shuffle

I just moved my studio into the barn, so I officially have a commute again.

But I love the space- totally worth it :) 

Keira of Bath

 Keira played the "Wife of Bath" character in a Canterbury Tales school production this week. 

Since we home schooled for so long, it has been a while since we saw our kids perform in school. The last time I remember was some "History of Texas" production  around 5 years ago at her elementary school.

 Anyways, Keira and her class all did a great job. 

It was much better than the Texas show : )
