Jamaica: Day 3

On the third day the sun started to shine and we would settle into out daily vacation routine.
Wake up (way too early, of course) and wait around upstairs for a little bit so that we don’t wake the rest of the house up.

Search for ants out front before breakfast.

Hop in the cart after breakfast and then head to the beach.

Hang out at the beach through lunch and then split up for afternoon naps and pool time.

Pool fun (by now, the water was beginning to warm up).

Swim-up bar was always optional, but we never passed it up :)

Most of the time the villa’s cook and butler prepared the dinner for us at the house; but on this particular evening we attended the resort’s “beach barbeque” that they hold every week. Before the barbeque started, Lukas and the other kids had a lot of fun running around the croquet fields that were opposite the happy hour bar.

Katharine looked a little moody that night- must have been the full moon and the long camera exposure.

Off to the beach barbeque- where 70 dollars bought Iria and Katharine both a small plate of assorted fruit. This buffet was priced for big wallets and appetites (maybe I will bring the boys back in 15 years). All of the kids started to get a bit fussy, so we ended up leaving early. Note to self: find out what a dinner is going to cost before you start to eat.
