Napping together

Lukas and Kassidy napping together last week.

Kassidy still has the red spot on her forehead (over her left eye) from her rough passage through the birth canal. I used to Photoshop it out, figuring it would be gone in a few weeks. It hasn't gone away, so now it is more of a special feature for her than a blemish.

Update: they were both passed out on the couch before Alderaan was destroyed...

I remember my Grandpa falling asleep when he took me to see 'Return of the Jedi' in the theater, so maybe it just runs in the family.

Natalie Merchant concert

We went to see Natalie Merchant at the Winspear last night with friends.

More napping

In general, the kids have been exhausted from being busy ay church all summer long. It turns into their home away from home when I volunteer at church during the week. The last few weeks, even the boys have been napping. Not so today, however, as only Lennon and Kassidy are taking a nap. Keira will be VERY tired tonight and go down easy for our sitters Mary and Anisha because she decided to skip the nap today.
Erik and I are excited to go to the Winspear to see Natalie Merchant. And dinner before the concert with our friends Meghan, Brian and Susan.
