Easter at Grandma Donna's

After church we headed over to Grandma Donna's for Easter Lunch and an Egg Hunt. We missed last year, but it is starting to become a bit of an annual tradition.

"Grandma" Donna is our friend Julie's mother, but all of the kids (and adults) like to call her that.

Here is a group portrait of the Doescher contingent (yes, that was the best shot of Lennon).

And here are all of the kids.

The kids settled into the house before lunch and the hunt.

All of the older kids were glued to their Apple gear, playing Minecraft.

After a while the kids realized that I had brought my iPad with me, so that was quickly added to the Minecraft network.

All of those kids were adept at entering passwords, setting up the wi-fi, creating local Minecraft servers, and generally preparing themselves to eventually rule the world...

Once Opa moved up to his chair on the porch (chants of "Opa! Opa!" could be heard from within), the kids were unleashed onto the Easter Eggs.

Afterwards they opened up all of their eggs and inadvertently terrified a small lizard that they had found out back.

Good times as always.

Thanks, Grandma Donna!

Hopefully your wi-fi is still working so that you can read this...
