If you think the trunk looks tightly packed, you should see the 7 of us in the car with the rest of the luggage.




We should be in Destin around lunchtime tomorrow, after a stop-over in Mississippi tonight.

Connectagons

Keira asked me to build a dinosaur out of connections. I did the best I could, Katharine came up with a turtle.

Sugar and Spice

Yesterday was all about dance. 

In the afternoon I attended recitals for Iria and the four kids. Everybody was awesome, and it always makes me so proud to see the kids performing and having so much fun up on stage. They don't allow cameras during the shows, so here are some before and after shots:

After the show, Iria went home to put the kids to bed (and catch a breath for herself) and I sped off to the Duke Nukem launch party. 

It capped off an awesome day for Gearbox.

In the morning we had an all-day community event where we celebrated our history and future, and it was jam packed with fans and generated a lot of excitement. The dancing resumed at night, but the petticoats and tutus were left behind in Frisco. The Crystal Method and D.J. Jazzy Jeff were performing, so it was all about hitting the dance floor like I was back in college. I think all of the dancing I was watching earlier might have inspired me... but the music didn't hurt as well.

Rehearsal June 9th 2011

We brought the Leapsters. Lukas and Lennon's friend Owen joined them. We know Owen from dance. The boys play with him every Wednesday when his older sister is in class.

A little Peak at Rehearsal

Dress rehearsal was on Thursday. I was a long day for all of us. Here are a few pictures I took with my phone, more to follow:

Parting Shots

On Monday morning I am off to California for the week to help demonstrate one of our new games at E3. 

I decided to snap a few photos of the kids so that I would have some available for "the wallet" if I wanted to show them off to anybody.
