Eagle Watch

I heard about a live eagle-cam on NPR tonight, which is observing a nest where 2 out of 3 eggs just hatched. In the course of ten minutes we saw the mother eagle get up, feed her eaglets fish, sit back down, and then saw the daddy eagle swoop in to drop off some food.

Pretty cool!

The eagle also makes a great drawing subject.

Lukas put the mother eagle and her babies in the nest on the bottom right corner, and the daddy eagle is flying in with a dead goose in its beak. A worried looking goose and squirrel look on from the left...

I'm not sure what Keira was drawing, but there is probably an eagle in there somewhere!

I can't wait to see what Katharine draws (she was out at dance class tonight).
