Katharine and Maya have been best friends since they were babies.
Maya will be moving to Seattle with her Mom this summer, so we are trying to make the most of their remaining time left together. There is a good chance that they will become another pair of long lost childhood friends, but I have a feeling that they will find a way for their friendship to persevere.
And in the meantime Katharine has her frousins, dance roomies, and the irreplaceable Charlotte with her back here in Texas. She'll do just fine :)
